Muffins with Mom

I love when schools have fun mornings that I can spend with the kiddos. We loved Muffins with Mom last week and although Ady didn't eat much, Will handled eating all the muffins in the entire building. :)

Hand, Foot and Mouth

Somehow we escaped this virus with our older 2 but we weren't able to avoid it with Will. His school has been hit pretty hard with it and he for sure got it. Thankfully it seems to be fairly mild as he only had spots on his mouth and bum but the poor guy was fairly grumpy for a few days, most likely when it was hitting his body! Thankfully having big brother read to you makes you feel better...

Also he got a haircut and for the first time ever didn't scream bloody murder. It seems everyone in our town goes to Ms. Tumeaka for their haircuts and we love her too. She's great with the babies and always does a fab job making him look like a stud muffin!

Mimi and Grandpa's Visit

Mimi and Grandpa came down to visit us for a few days to see soccer games, hang out with the kiddos and hit up a pumpkin patch with us. We had a great visit and great weather while they were here! Derek and I also got to even enjoy a date night to dinner and a movie!

DC!

Each year I try to get to DC to photograph all my old clients and catch up with my running friends. I miss running in that city SO much and miss these girls so much too. I love Texas but man was DC such a blast. I went out the first night I was there with my girlfriends and then busted my rear shooting tons of families before running on Sunday morning. My friends who are training for another marathon had to run 20 miles so I joined them for the last 10K at a cute little race they found! It was SO good to see the sites again!

My marathon training buddies turned friends for life....

Before I headed home I got to enjoy brunch, some shopping and pedicures with my sweet friend Lisa who hosted me for my stay!

Homecoming Parade

Derek had to go to DC when we had the homecoming parade so we watched it with friends and Gramma and Poppa. Drew had fun with his friends while Ady had fun with her friends and Gramma had Will entertained while I had fun with my friends. HA!

WEATHER!

It's NOT been 100 degrees lately so we've been outside a lot more! I love that Will can play more outside now too and although he doesn't go up into the clubhouse yet he's got all the plasma car and balls and bats to play with out back. He loves being out there with big brother and sissy!

And this right here is my super sexy husband y'all. Love him to death and although we don't see much of each other in Oct and November thanks to my work, he's still my fave. :)
