Drew's First Sleepover

Drew had his good friend Weston over for his first sleepover and it went SO well. Weston is a wonderful kid and very well behaved so I knew these 2 wouldn't get into any trouble at all. They played board games, video games, watched a movie and enjoyed donuts in the morning! Now guess who is begging for her own sleepover? HAHAHA.

William // 15 Month Update

While I don't officially do 15 month updates for my kiddos, I had to document a few little tidbits about our little ham. Walking for a couple of weeks now he thinks he can conquer the world. He is into EVERYTHING and never stops. He does NOT want to hold your hand when he's walking nor have anyone help him at all. It's hard to get anything done around the house considering his favorite activities include unrolling alllll the toilet paper, opening every cabinet, pulling everything out of them and rearranging all kitchen chairs and decor. He's quite the jokster who loves to make his brother and sister laugh. He's an AMAZING sleeper going down around 8 and sleeping until between 7 and 8 and still takes 2 naps about 50% of the time and one nap the other 50%. All naps are generally a couple of hours.

This kiddo also loves his carbs and we've even found a dairy free mac n cheese that he loves. He would live off fruit, however, if we let him. He knows how to say about 12 words right now including our names, shoe, dog, ball and others. And he understands SO much of what we're saying. If we ask him to hand us something he does. Or if we say Get Down off of something he does. (But then looks at us as he gets right back on it). He looooooves his doggie something fierce but drives her up a wall that she generally moves away from his vicinity. This 2T wearing kid still loves being outside so very much. He always has since he was a little tiny thing but man if his brother and sister are out there and he doesn't get to go out he throws a FIT.

Love you so much my little chicken!!! :)

First Rangers Game!

Some friends invited us to the Rangers game with them last week and it was SO fun! A million degrees but still so much fun with this group. I needed to have eaten more because that beer hit me hard but whew! So many laughs. And, it's always nice to know we have the best babysitters now. Gramma and Poppa are always our kiddos favorite to sit of course!

14

Couldn't do life with anyone else besides this man. He is my person, my tribe, my partner and the one that I literally can't exist without. We are so lucky to have each other and I could not love him more than I do and think it's crazy that it's been 14 years married already!!

Also, he surprised me by adding more diamonds around my engagement diamond!! LOVE LOVE LOVE my new halo!!

Ady's Dance Recital

Another year in the books of dance for my girl! She took the ballet/tap combo class again but this time was with 5-7 year olds. Because we didn't want to do the Saturday 2-5 year old class with sports, they let her slide into the slightly older class because she had danced there before. I was shocked at how well she kept up at recital and LOVED watching her 2 dances! :)

Plus how cool to have BOTH sets of grandparents there to watch!

More Summer Fun

Drew's piano lessons began and he is doing SO well. He seems to be catching on super fast.

We saw a movie with some friends just the bigs and I and they loved it!

We put Will in Gymboree and he's loving his special time without the bigs around.

Lots of pool time at friends houses and the community pool with this crew...

Father's Day 2019

Remember when I'd blog about things the next day after it happened and have full details with tons of images? Yeah, well that's probably never going to happen again. Having 3 active kiddos and a full time job is enough to keep me busy so keep expecting tardy and short updates!

For Father's Day, Derek got to see his dad as they came down to watch Ady's recital again this year!

This guy is our rock. Period. He balances me out in every way and is a wonderful father to his kiddos. They adore him and love when he's home every day and we are excited for a couple of upcoming summer activities and trips that include him!

I was also lucky again to have my dad around for Father's Day. Next year will be his 40th Father's Day! :)

Summering

WHEW! This summer has been tough. Just tough. And we're only like 3 weeks in. The bigs argue a lot and Will needs a lot of supervision so time to work, clean, do laundry and even shower is extremely limited to his naps and that's about it. I'm trying my best to make it fun for the kids but whew, when does school start? The kids had a blast at Vacation Bible School at our church last week making things and doing lots of fun activities.

I've been having fun with my new GoPro Hero 7 in the water at our friends houses!

We do have a couple of fun events coming up on the calendar like a day at the museum, zoo, water park, and more!

William is Walking!!

At 14.5 months old, William is walking! Yeah! I wasn't too concerned being that he's #3 but I'm hoping I'll be able to carry him less and less over the next couple of months. My back has been killing me! So we don't call our babies 'walkers' until THEY choose to walk on their own. They have to let go and take steps on their own a few times and then they are 'walkers'. So, he's been cruising a ton and letting go to balance here and there but over the last week our boy has been walking everywhere on his own! He's SO very well balanced and does a great job and it's so cute to watch how he walks with his hands in the air! Here's the video from a few days ago....

Boating with Buddies

Last year we rented a boat with our neighbor friends and had so much fun we went out again this year! The kids had a blast jumping in the lake and it was gorgeous with hardly any wind meaning super calm waters! The kids started off the morning with donuts and had plenty of snacks on the boat. A few of them even went on the tube also!
