Fun with Friends!

We enjoyed the elementary school Gala a week ago with some of our favorites! It was a super fun night even though we didn't win everything we wanted in the auction! 

Then we had an unexpected open night (we either have activities or mommy is working) that we got to try the new Big Shots with some friends. Drew helped coach Will on how to hold the club. :)

 

Drew's 1st Golf Tournament

On April 25th Drew played in his first golf tournament with his PGA junior team, the Lazers. It was a scramble with his friend Cody and he did amazing! I was crazy excited to watch him play and it was just SO different compared to normal soccer games where it's so loud and you're screaming at the top of your lungs. It was crazy hard to keep the volume down and just quietly watched but he did SO good including a far drive landing about 3 feet from the hole on one link! Can't WAIT for more tournaments and watching our little stud who loves this game so.

 

Daddy / Daughter Dance

We are so lucky to have such an amazing year for Ady in 1st grade at a private school. They also did the daddy/daughter dance this year and she had SO much fun with her friends and daddy! Also, I know I'm bias but she is just a GORGEOUS girl. Just stunning!

 

Work Trip to DC

I got to head to DC again this spring to work and photograph 12 families and see some girlfriends! We took a walk around the monuments to see the sights I love so dearly! 

My girlfriend Lisa is the best host ever and who I always stay with! 

And the rosebud trees were SO amazing the weekend I was there! :)

 

Bluebonnet Pictures

Had to take our annual bluebonnet pictures to celebrate another year in Texas. The kiddos did great and Derek still had a heart attack with every step due to his fear of snakes. 

 

Randoms

Hazel graduated puppy class at school and can sit, stay, 'leave it' (sometimes) and she waits to eat her food until we release her. She's also gotten a TON better at not jumping on people!

She loves snuggling on the couch when one of her humans is sitting there!

Drew is learning about Texas history in school so they had a western themed day! 

Had some popsicles to celebrate summer coming! 

Easter Day Pictures

We were lucky to have Mimi and Grandpa in town with us this year for Easter and I was lucky to have the kiddos allow me to match them yet again. They looked ADORABLE and we had great weather and a wonderful service! 

 

Pre-Easter Activities

We decorated eggs a bit different this year. I found this awesome egg spinner and markers that made for cool lines and a fun activity for the kiddos. 

Then our neighborhood had an Egg Hunt in which we had hundreds of eggs for a ton of kids!

School Stuff

Will had a spring performance at school but it was watched by family online over zoom. He looked super handsome but kept those hands in his pockets the entire time.

Ady was class winner for reading the most books this last semester and we are SO proud of her! We got a picture of her and Mimi since Mimi and Grandpa spent hours each week listening to Ady read over facetime. It started at the beginning of COVID and then we just continued. It helps me out a ton and they aren't crazy busy seeing how they are retired so it's a win win!
