William // 1 Month
Wow. The third really does fly by the fastest! Cannot believe it's already been a month and you'll be a year old in the blink of an eye. It's been one crazy month but we've had a lot of help from family and friends. That all ends though in a couple of days when Mimi & Grandpa leave town and we're on our own with 3! :)
Stats:
Weight: 10 pounds 11 ounces (73%)
Height: 21.75 inches (58%)
Head: 38.5 cm (84%)
Temperament: We're not sure if we should use the term 'colicky' or not, but you're probably on the border line. You were basically asleep for the first 2-3 weeks after birth but then you woke up and since then haven't been the happiest. When you're sleeping it's wonderful and you nap long, but when you're awake, we don't get too much time with you just alert and happy. You're pretty fussy and we think it's a gas or digestive issue. We've tried gas drops, gripe water, mom cut dairy and her drops to increase breastmilk. Next up is trying probiotics and the chiropractor. It's been pretty rough and momma has shed a lot of tears but we just want to figure out WHAT is wrong so that you're not in pain.
Sleep: Pretty good. If we compare you to your brother and sister, you don't sleep well, but compared to most babies out there I wouldn't say it's bad. We're getting a 4 hours stretch (10p-ish - 2a-ish) followed by a couple 2 hours stretches now and had one 5 hour stretch last week. You do nurse nicely and head back to sleep pretty well though so we can't complain. Maybe soon you'll give us a 6 hour stretch!
Eat: You are an amazing latcher just like your sis. And the fact that you've put on more than the other 2 did in the first month of life says a lot. You LOVE momma's boobs and are quite attached to them. Proud of you little guy!
Clothes: You're mostly wearing 0-3 month size
Diapers: Size 1. And unfortunately we're not cloth diapering this time. We don't have a utility sink and are generally just too lazy to do it this time around. :)
Talk: Literally today you made your first teeny coo sound to me. And also I've gotten a few little starts of a smile. Like you're so close to a good smile and it melts my heart.
You stole our hearts from the first day little guy and are the cherry on top to our family. Love you to pieces and so do your sister and brother!

First Easter, First Bath & More
He's a bit bigger than Drew was but here is the '1st Easter' onesie that Drew wore in 2011 at about 3 months old!
Ady also assisted in Will's first at-home sponge bath...
The princess is absolutely obsessed with her brother and, quite frankly, it's to the smothering point. She tries to kiss him every 7 seconds and constantly has to be touching his face. Yes it's adorable but it can be quite frustrating at times too!
We also said goodbye to Gramma and Poppa after 2 weeks of having them help SO very much!!
But Uncle Bean was able to come into town for a few days!
Crazy that we already have a 2.5 week old. I've been told time and time again that #3 goes crazy fast and it sure has already!!
My Three
Drew's baseball skills have been improving SO much! He's been practicing almost daily and we've gotten him some private batting lessons to help as well. Love how studly he looks in his game uniform!
He's also been really excited to have Will in his bed at night and read to him.
The other one just has to be near him at almost all times of day...
And I'm loving this sports season! Finally took Will to a game and although it was windy, it was so nice to be out and about with him. I love watching my kiddos play and it was hard to miss their games for a few weeks!

Heading Home
On Saturday, March 31st right before lunchtime we were released to head home. William put on the going home outfit that both daddy wore in 1981 and Drew wore as well and then we were off!

The welcoming committee was so excited to have him arrive...
Gramma and Poppa decorated the house with blue all over...

Will Day 2
On day 2 he got to meet his Aunt Whitney, have his first sponge bath, had his hearing test completed and his brother and sister got to hold him! Gramma and Poppa also got in some more snuggles and we enjoyed our 'fancy' dinner courtesy of the Hospital.
