Holiday Parties!

I'm room mom for Will's class this year meaning I was responsible for the Holiday party. It went off with a bang and the kiddos had a great time! I even heard one say 'BEST PARTY EVER'! so yay. Ha!

The best co-room mom...

I helped during Ady's party which was super fun and full of sugar!

SANTA!

Our annual visit with Santa was as good as it always was. Will enjoyed his little chat with him and Ady and Drew were the best sports. I ADORE doing this year after year and love that they will still wear matching pajamas.

Field Trips & Final Piano Recital

I was so lucky to attend BOTH kiddos field trips last week and it was great! First up was the ICE exhibition at the Gaylord with Ady. We had a sweet little group and it was a blast!

Then I got to see Frozen Jr (a play put on by our high school) with Will and his class!

Ady had her final piano recital as well. She's had a TON of change this past few months and has been strongly disliking piano for the past year. We decided to cut her some slack and let piano go ending on a high note instead of continuing to push it. The boys had to catch the end of the Chiefs game though...

And the recital involved building gingerbread houses while the other students were playing!

Her teacher, Mrs. Jenny, has been wonderful and we can't wait for Will to begin with her!

Early December Happenings

We selected our annual Christmas tree and decorated when we arrived back from NYC.

And this year I decided to super glue some lights around the garage and it looks great!

Volunteering with our districts angel tree program. It's always so incredible to see how many families in need there are around us considering we live in a 'bubble' where our children only see affluency. It's one of my favorite volunteering opportunities each year!

Will and his buddy at our church's winter festival. They had a blast!

Will has started basketball and is loving having daddy as a coach!

His sweet teacher surprised him at his first game!

Ady and her buddies went to see Nutcracker put on by our dance studio.

Writing our letters to Santa. The bigs are the BEST sports for our little Will.

Caroling on our street with buddies!

Annual visit to see the best Santa and snap pictures with him!

My boys.

Christmas Experience at church!

Dress up day at school and Mr. Man asked if he could wear the Santa hat!

Thanksgiving in New York City

We decided to get away for Thanksgiving this year and headed to the Big Apple for the week. We did ALL the things, walked everywhere and even braved the freezing and rainy Macy's Day Parade. Core Memories was the theme of this trip and we sure made some including seeing the amazing Wicked on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre! Ady and I got to see the Rockettes live which was amazing and the boys visited The Intrepid which was awesome per Will. The Statue of Liberty and 9/11 monument and museum are something everyone should visit in their lives and we loved walking around 5th avenue. Although the city itself is super dirty and there is literal weed surrounding you at all times we had a great time.
