Summer Fun

Drew and his buddies volunteered at our church's VBS where Will attended. Ady joined VBX as it's her last year to attend!

It was a sad day when we said goodbye to our swingset that we purchased when we moved into the house. The kiddos don't play with it, it's collecting spiderwebs and was somewhat falling apart. A family did come and pick it up planning to rebuilt it for their grandchildren though so that helped my emotions!

Will participated in the Drive, Chip & Putt challenge and got 5th out of 25 boys! He got the 4th place chipping score and did awesome!

Birthdays, Hawaiian Falls & Home Depot

We celebrated Derek's birthday getting his fave; barbecue! Also Drew thinks he's taller so we broke out the level and they are basically exactly the same!

Summer Beginnings

The biggest news of the summer is that we have a hamster now! We found an accidental liter and humans who handled these babies as early as they could. Ady named her Clover and she's the sweetest thing there ever was!

We also went to the Charles Schwab Challenge at The Colonial again this year and it's always a good time. We saw tons of players, got some good balls

Ady attended her first concert (Alex Warren) with friends for her friends birthday...

And we hosted Drew and his 4 best friends one night treating them to a yummy steak dinner...

Getaway to New Braunfels

We decided to get away for the long Memorial weekend with Gramma and Poppa to New Braunsfels, Texas. We floated the river with the kids, enjoyed a bunch of fishing and some yummy meals and s'mores as well! We brought our tailgate golf game and, of course, played cards and farkle. The place we stayed at wasn't the absolute best but we enjoyed spending time with family. Enjoy these pictures in 100% reverse order as I don't have time to rearrange. :)
