Ady's Special Day

The boys both had school last Monday and Ady was off so we took her on a much-needed day date by herself! We went to play miniature golf, had lunch, went shopping, enjoyed a cake pop and she even got to pick out a new shirt! It seems as thought it's harder and harder to find time for just her or Drew so it's always a nice treat when we do!

Granbury

A girlfriend planned a couples trip to Granbury for a weekend and it was SO much fun! Mimi and Grandpa drove down just to watch the kiddos for us so we could get away and it was so relaxing and nice. We hit up the local brewery, a couple restaurants, did some shopping, played cards and enjoyed a ghost tour! We had fabulous weather too!

Valentine's Day

Drew's 3rd grade Vday theme was a sock hop so he dressed up as a greaser!

I got to help at Ady's party also and she got to enjoy an ice cream sundae before lunch!

I also attempted a valentine's shoot with this guy but it was a HUGE fail! Oh well!

This one took me out a few days prior to celebrate both my birthday and Valentine's Day. We don't really do much for Vday but he always treats me to a nice combined dinner!

Father-Daughter Dance

Ady got to attend her father-daughter dance a couple weeks ago with dad AND Poppa! She LOVES dressing up and having her hair curled and the horse-drawn carriage was just icing on the cake. They danced the night away and this little angel felt so special!

 

And Drew got some one on one Mark kart time with Gramma!

Choo Choo

This little love bug of ours has been just so sweet lately! He plays well, eats well, sleeps amazingly and is just overall such an easy baby right now! I can't believe in a few weeks he'll be 2! He's extremely intelligent and catches on to everything SO darn fast. I love watching things click in his brain and his word count is probably nearing 50 but it's hard to keep track. He pretty much understands everything we are saying and LOVES to give kisses. Kisses for family members, stuff animals, even fake animal statues on the walls of our play group play area. Ha! Seriously want time to freeze right about now!

Super Bowl CHAMPS!!!!!!

My family and Derek's family have been Chiefs fans our entire lives through thick and thin. We had decades where they were terrible but as of late things have changed and this year was our year! We watched so many games with my parents and my brother flew in to surprise the kiddos and watch the Super Bowl with us! Normally Derek and I host watch parties but we really wanted to watch with family this year and we are SO glad we were together to watch them win! 

 

 

It was SO intense we were all EXHAUSTED!

Beauty And The Beast

Gramma and I took Ady to see the high school production of Beauty and the Beast and it was SO good! She watched SO intently and didn't even notice it was about 2.5 hours long! It was a wonderful production for a high school and we definitely will be back to see more shows!
