July 4th

We started off July 3rd with Gramma and Poppa sweating at a local festival while eating treats and enjoying activities...

Then we started the day like we always do with the 5K run. Ady was having an asthma exacerbation so she had to punt the 5K. I ran it with Drew and Will and dad ran the one mile fun run...

Then it was off to the parade which is just adorable for our little town...

Then it was off to our friends for their pool party!

Ended the night with our local fireworks with Gramma and Poppa...

We completely forgot to do our fireworks so the next evening our neighbors broke the law with us and we shot them off...

June Comes To A Close

We enjoyed more time at Hawaiian Falls with buddies (mom even got to play mahjong one time!)..

Will had another golf tournament, this time at a little bigger course instead of his normal par 3 one.

More time at Hawaiian Falls...

Putting Green!

Remember how we took out the playground and mom was a bit sad? Well, a snap decision later and we have a backyard putting green! 

Gulf Shores 2026

We had grand plans of meeting friends at the Beach again but it fell through for both of those other families. We decided to still enjoy some time at the ocean because family is first anyway and we love being with our family. First up, Ady's first set of dip nails just for vacation! 

We stayed overnight in New Orleans on the way over to the beach and always grab a delicious creole meal followed by our favorite dessert shop: Sucre! 

And then of course some beignets before we headed off to the condo! 

This is the third time we've stayed in this condo and it's wonderful! It's right on the water and fits our family of 5 perfectly. 

 

We enjoyed a dolphin cruise and got to hold some cool things in their live well...

We actually almost punted the trip due to a tropical storm but it was only the first day there that the double red flags were out. We also enjoyed dancing on the tables at The Hangout and eating some great seafood, searching for crabs at night, making smores, playing chess, reading, bodyboarding and digging a million trenches/holes!
