Randoms

Our friends down the street have been hosting a driveway church each Sunday for the kiddos and it's been amazing. Kelly was a formal music teacher and does amazing at holding their attention and teaching them something short and sweet each weekend.

Ady loves reading via Zoom to Mimi and Grandpa in Kansas. It's nice because it frees up a bit of time for mommy and entertains them during quarantine too! :)

Ady's Dance Recital 2020

What a crazy season it's been. When COVID hit in March the studio shut down and went online for all dance classes. Keeping 5/6 year olds attention on learning a routine via the computer was TOUGH. But somehow, magically, our studio did it and we had a very socially distanced recital in a hotel ballroom last weekend. It was so great and I'm so proud of these sweet girls and how well they did all things considered.

I also never resist a photo opp of such a beautiful little thing! She had a ballet, tap and jazz routine and 2 outfits this year. :)

Adalyn // 6 Years Old

Oh sweet girl what a year it's been. You are our dress wearing, sweet and sassy perfect little ball of fire with the best giggle ever. You use words like coller-roasters and gotfor and it makes me smile. When you are sweet you are CRAZY sweet, but be warned, you can turn on a dime. Ha! Your reading has gotten AWESOME over the school year and you are reading level 1 books pretty well but reading isn't your favorite. Barbies and dolls are still your most beloved toys and you can spend quite a long time playing with them! Unicorns are your jam right now and if everything you owned had a unicorn on it you would be so happy! We had some sleep issues with you this winter but we kicked that with a few changes in routine and you now sleep 11ish hours like a champ! Your friends all adore you and I've always said how friendly of a little person you are. You do what you want and are a leader and the independent side, while tough now, will do you well in life. The fact that you picked up bike riding during quarantine so easily and that you get along with your brothers for the most part makes our lives here easier during this pandemic. When Drew invites you to play legos you drop everything and run. You look up to him so much yet you are also the perfect big sis for Will. Although he hates when you pick him up like a baby he loves the little games you play with him and giving you hugs. Which, by the way, you are still the best hugger in our family. :) We love your little self so much and can't wait for our day of fun tomorrow to celebrate you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADALYN!

Beat The Heat

Yep, more pool and ice cream pictures! We are just living our best lives over here. Ignore the stress of fighting kids due to a lack of routine and school structure and focus on the fun. How many weeks left until school? WHEW.

Once a week we get a sitter for Will and I lug our bigs and 2 buddies to Hawaiian Falls for a day of fun. It's a BLAST!

We also had a night of fun where we rented a private cabana with our 3 besties and enjoyed some live music. We weren't near anyone and had SO much fun!
