Easter Eggs

Sooooo brown eggs don't dye that well. Ha! Oh well. We still had fun dying them while Will was sleeping.

Easter Program & Hunts

I adore our school where Will and Ady are. They had their little Easter program last week and it was adorable. Ady sang SO well and loved being on stage. When it came to the egg hunt, however, she really is NOT aggressive and barely got any. Thank goodness for teachers who even things out. Ha! Will also did AWESOME on stage and didn't cry at all. Sure he didn't do much but it was SO cute. He's the youngest in the entire school and looked like a stud muffin! And yes, they had a tiny hunt as well and it was so cute. :)

Ady & Poppa's Box Car

First, two cuties....

So for Ady's school Safety Town day she was tasked with making a box car. She asked Poppa to help but she really did the majority of the work herself. Sure there were other AMAZING cars at school that you could tell the 4 year olds did NOT do themselves, but I was proud of her for doing 85% of the work!

Axe Throwing!

We had a double date with some friends to throw some axes last week and it was SO much fun! It's so hard but a great thing to try out with the husbands.

Rainy Day Family Fun

Rainy Saturday's mean all sports are cancelled and we head out for some family fun. There's a HUGE indoor climbing place near us that's so fun for the bigs. Will hung out in the baby area and enjoyed when sister came to visit. Soon you'll be able to do it all buddy. Soon! We did end our time there on the arcades too. So much fun!

Mother / Son Night at School!

Drew and I had some fun at his elementary school's mother - son night. We ate yummy food and enjoyed playing nerf wars!

Bluebonnets

I don't personally take clients into bluebonnets because I'm terrified of the rattlesnakes that like to relax in them but I had to snap a picture of my own 3! They did great, and then they didn't but at least I got an awesome shot of them!

Will's 1st Haircut

This little dude has been suffering from some major hair in the eyes lately but I am NOT ready to chop those locks off. I took him to my hairdresser for her to just trim his bangs and that's about it. He did pretty great getting a little pissy at one point but because it was so quick it didn't end up being that bad! I knew she wouldn't make him look like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber and now he can see clearly. I'm guessing within a couple of months we'll have to do an actual cut, but for his first 'official' one, a trim was fine. :)

Will's First Birthday Party!

We had a backyard bbq party for Will's first birthday party complete with our FAVORITE bbq from Kansas and a margarita machine to thank our friends for helping us get through his first year! Derek's mom helped make SO much of the food and although Will wasn't feeling his best and the wind and cold came that morning, it went ok! We had about 40ish adults and kids and also hired a balloon artist and face painting duo who did a great job! Will didn't love his cake but at least he sat for 5 seconds in the chair before crying. Still can't believe he's one!!
