Goodness little stinker bug. What a handful, yet perfect addition to our family you are. You can be a sweet daddy's or mommy's boy one minute but then scream at us for no reason the next. You like to run off more than the other 2 did but you're starting to understand 'no' more often which helps. It's funny, though, how you are so brave when your siblings are around but if it's just mommy and you at a playgroup or Gymboree class you are quite shy often clinging to my leg or needing lots of pushing to get out there. You are the cutest little ham who loves to get attention from others and I love our little 5th wheel so very much. How are you already a year and a half old?! CRAZY!
Lately you have been following directions like a big boy! If we tell you to go find your shoes you do and then bring them to us. You can follow simple instructions like sit down or put the ball in the bucket and you are doing better and better in Gymboree actually doing what we're supposed to be doing with the group! It's SUPER adorable watching you get your stamps at the end of class.
As for speech you have been mimicking us with almost everything we are saying. You can probably say a good dozen words on your own and can understand a good chunk of what we're saying or telling you to do. You can point to your nose, ears, tummy and toes and just learned a month ago how to 'give a kiss' although that really means you lean in open mouth. Ha!
You just got your 12th tooth last week and show no signs of the 2 year molars yet. You are our latest teether so I'm not surprised that you'll get your 2nd molars last. You were a CHAMP when you were teething though little man. Like other than some nasty diapers we could hardly tell!
You are an AWESOME sleeper and at night go down so well sleeping anywhere from 11-12 hours. You nap once a day and I generally get a solid 2 hours from you. It's pretty awesome. You're also a great eater trying pretty much anything we put in front of you. You still aren't the biggest fan of meat and would eat carbs or fruit all day long. We are still avoiding much dairy with your lactose intolerance but if a meal has a bit of cheese we give it to you. Your doc wants us to keep introducing cheese in the hopes that someday you can eat it without breaking out in eczema rashes all over! And you are a few ounces over 27 pounds and quite the solid chunk!
You are still OBSESSED with animals and our 12 year old lab, Bailey, is probably your favorite thing in this household. When you see other animals though you get SO excited and it's adorable. Your favorite stuffed animal is Petey the Panda, just like your big brother. You have a smaller version of his big one but it's for sure your favorite animal. When we run Ady to school (and you MWF's) you bring him along for the ride and snuggle him every night.
