Annual last day of school photos! Can't believe we'll have a middle schooler again!
How is my sweet little punky bear headed off to middle school? This year was nothing short of amazing for our girl. The biggest thing?! She ended with STRAIGHT A's! She was SO close in 3rd and 4th grade and worked her tail off to get that this year and I'm crazy proud of her. Next year she chose to take the honors version of the 3 classes available to do that and her confidence has grown so much. She also graduated the dyslexia program meaning she won't get pulled out of middle school classes for instruction, rather only keep her accomodations for classtime. Next year will for SURE be a big change but I know she'll do big things and can conquer everything put in front of her.
After some seriously hard seasons of losing lots (last season we won ONE game all season), WE WERE THE CHAMPS!!! We got some awesome hitters that were lucky hat picks and Derek did an amazing job coaching the boys to win the championship. My heart barely could handle the tense playoff games but we have some wonderful families this season on our team and it was a blast!
This was our second recital with Harlen House and they just do a wonderful job with the production. Rehearsal is during normal classes so that no additional weekend times are added and these girls ROCKED their dances! Ady had to also do the ballet recital piece and opted to do the advanced hip hop rec class dance as well. :)
