Ady is just loving her new studio and I'm loving how much she's growing learning! We had her first big competition and convention in January and it was a completely exhausting 4 days. She missed only a few hours of school on Friday, did great with her solo and rocked all of her group dances. The choreography of her dances is amazing and I love every one of her costumes.
Will has been asking when he gets to start learning piano so here we are. He actually is picking it up SO fast and is doing so well. He has zero qualms about practicing and I think really enjoys playing!
Drew had a great birthday celebration with buddies the day before his birthday. We went to this place called Active Arena that had a dozen or so rooms for sports and games and fun things like VR paragliding. We ended the night with pizza. :)
We had a LEGIT two snow days down here in Texas the first week back to school. The kiddos were off for 3 weeks for the Holiday, went back one Wednesday and then were off Thursday and Friday for snow days. We had wonderful snow that was great for sledding and snowmen and it was so nice to be cozy with hot chocolate, movies, soup and time with friends!
We were going to drive to Kansas the day after Christmas but with my brother in town, not packing at ALL on Christmas and me not feeling the best we decided to postpone one day. We drove up and spent a week with Derek's family and it was SO nice. Lesa spoils us by making ALL the meals (we help of course!), it was so relaxing and just a wonderful week full of Holiday movies.
We hope everyone has a wonderful 2025 and it's been crazy to reflect on 2024 and all that happened. We had a wonderful year full of changes and growth. Derek and I have chosen to punt a lot of the social life we used to have in order to spend more time with our kiddos and it was the best decision ever.
