SANTA!!!!

I LOVE our annual visits to Santa where I get to snap my own pictures and each kiddo gets some quality time with the big man. Will is fully into Santa, Ady is questioning more and more every day and Drew is the BEST sport. 

I love that he had Will pull on his beard to ensure that it was real...

But even more I ADORE that this particular Santa always ends our time together with a prayer...

Had to snap a pic of my favorite humans on the fun green couch. This year I'm feeling so fortunate for my family. It's been a year full of weird changes for me with some friendships and I've really shifted my focus and all of my energy onto these 3 and Derek. Time is fleeting and I'm crazy aware that we only have 5.5 more years with all 3 under our roof and I plan to spend as much time together as I possibly can. We've got SO much planned this Holiday season and I can't wait to enjoy it with my wonderful little family. :)

 

Kansas City for Thanksgiving

Because we're spending Christmas with my family, we went to Kansas City for Thanksgiving to spend with Derek's parents. The kiddos are always such great travelers and Hazel did pretty good as well.

The first stop was Union Station to eat lunch, see the displays and enjoy Science City.

We could have spent 4-5 hours at Science City as it was just jam packed with so much for everyone!

A little relaxing by the fire one evening...

Mimi took me and the littles to see Trolls 3 while Derek and Drew went golfing...

And one evening we got to see some KC friends...

We started Thanksgiving morning with a 5K and Drew joined this year!

Then it was time for the big meal in which Mimi did almost all of the cooking/preparation!

It's such a treat that Mimi and Grandpa handle the kids bedtime routines and read to them every night!

On the way home we made a stop at our favorite place to get cider donuts... Louisburg Cider Mill! We also loaded up on cider to sip!

And yes, Hazel has tons of room but preferred Drew's lap...

Frontiers of Flight

The kiddos and I had a day of fun exploring the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Will loved the Blue Angel and Drew loved the Chipotle burrito after. :)

Soccer & Swift

Will's first soccer season was so much fun with little buddies! 

And another momma and I organized an evening of fun for the 3rd grade girls to see the Taylor Swift movie. They had a blast!
