Crawfish Boil
We had never been to a crawfish boil before so when my parents neighborhood decided to have one we joined in! Unfortunately it was crazy stormy so we picked up our portions and ate in the comfort of my parents home. It was yummy! Spicy, but yummy! Seems like a lot of work, however, for a teeny piece of meat. And yes, Will even played with a little crawfish .:)

My Crew
It's going to be a crazy summer with my 3 at home but thankfully we have a few camps lined up for each of them and we'll have Gramma and Poppa's pool to enjoy also!
This one. She's my fearless, independent one full of so much sass and drama to last a lifetime.
Our littlest. SO SO strong and loves his siblings so much.
And then Drew who is phenomenal with Will and such a good big brother to Ady.
Lastly, this stud muffin is my rock. Literally could NOT do life without him and so thankful for him everyday.

Mother's Day
We started off the morning at church with my parents and then enjoyed a delicious brunch at a fancy restaurant that Derek booked! I wanted to snap some pics in what we wear everyday and love how these turned out. Me in a hoodie that I'm often found in, Will in PJ's that he lives in, Drew in athletic clothing and Ady in a dress. It's 100% our life. :)
Love love love this one of my 3 babies...
And then Will was done...
So this is more real life. Kids jumping around me and Will playing with my phone because I give up. :)

Baseball is Over
I've always loved the feeling of being at the baseball fields and that Drew played. However, we really had to convince him this year. He wasn't really into it before the season started and mentioned not playing but we wanted him to give it one more year so did some bribing. It was a rough year for him, however, and it might have been our last. He played coach's pitch level and unfortunately didn't make contact a single time. I think he could see every game that his friends were making hits and runs and he wasn't and it wore down on him. Thankfully he had an awesome coach and a great team that was very supportive and cheered him on every second but baseball just isn't his thing. It's sad because he's SO handsome in that outfit! But, again, he's in the gifted program in school and extremely smart so we'd take that any day over him being crazy athletic. He loves soccer though and is excited to play again this fall!

Will's Ear Tube Surgery
With several ear infections and a bad reaction to an antibiotic combined with another antibiotic not clearing the fluid, we knew tubes were in our future with this one. When Ady had hers done we were so nervous but it literally was like 4 minutes long and she NEVER had another ear infection again! So, we got the other kids situated at 6am and left for the hospital to take our littlest to his first surgery ever. I was a bit nervous, probably less so than with Ady, but it literally takes like 8 minutes and really isn't too invasive. Our ENT is amazing and has done hundreds of them (maybe thousands?) so we knew it would be routine for her. The little guy was a champ and barely was crying. He LOVED his first sip of juice and has recovered quite nicely. Except for, that is, the ear drops. It was TORTURE putting those in his ears!!
Hopefully the ear infections are halted for a while for this poor guy!

Our Garden
The kids LOVED tending to our garden in DC and have been requesting we put one in here in Texas. So Poppa found some wood and built us the edge then the kids and I went to the nursery to pick out what they wanted to plant! We ended up with a few different kinds of tomatoes, strawberries, cilantro, corn and carrots! We shall see what makes it down here in the heat of the summer!

Bikes, Axes and Shoes!
We got Ady a new bike attachment so she can ride behind Daddy. The weight between her and Will in the trailer was pushing its limit so we needed to find something else. We have been LOVING our evening bike rides as a family now and she loves her new bike attachment!
Date night with a bunch of moms to throw some axes!
Will is cruising around more and more so he got his first pair of Nike kicks and looks SO grown up with them!!

Easter
We went to church with my parents and then enjoyed a wonderful lunch together with them and Aunt Whit. We also had a local Easter egg hunt in which Ady didn't collect a single egg but they all enjoyed seeing the Easter bunny!
Ady also celebrated her bestie, Lottie, turning 5 with another egg hunt at her house!
