Drew's Soccer Team

Drew's team name was the Cowboys and they had a great season! I think they won more than they lost and each of the boys improved! Drew enjoyed this season playing as goalie and did a GREAT job. Sure there were some balls that he could have grabbed but there were so many that he caught and blocked and I'm quite proud of him. More excited for him to find a position that he loves though. This has been a great year for our big guy and I can't wait to continue watching him grow!!

Pink Pandas

I snapped team pictures this year to help all the mommas out and save them $30+ and they turned out quite cute! 

We also had our end of year party celebrating yet another great season!

Dallas Zoo

Somehow we had a Saturday with a good 8 hours open and no sports or activities. We decided to get over to the Dallas Zoo which we had not been to yet after moving here. Unfortunately half of the zoo was shut down for an event but we were already there and just made the most of it. The lady at the gate let us in for free so it was an even better win-win! The kiddos loved seeing all the animals but watching Will interact and get so excited was the BEST!

Although Ady did not love it, the bird house was AMAZING. They landed all over us and it was the coolest thing!

Love my family and I love when we can get away for outings like this. Can't wait for many more in our future!

Halloween

We had some chillier weather for Texas but enjoyed having all 3 go out and trick or treat! Ady had her buddies and Drew had a friend and I had my little Stay Puft man along with some momma friends to enjoy the night with. Derek stayed back handing out candy while I somehow managed all 3 kiddos in the dark! Everyone loved my candy corn shots as per tradition and the kiddos got a lot of candy! Drew is really into Indiana Jones right now and that's who he wanted to be. He was so excited to carry a whip and all. Ady was, shocker, another princess; Elsa. Third year in a row to be a princess so I'm hoping we can switch it up next year!

Pumpkin Carving

My parents got to join us for pumpkin carving again this year and we had amazing weather to be out back. Ady and Drew did a LOT of the carving this year and did almost all of the scooping!

 

Costume Parties

We had TWO Halloween costume parties this year with friends! First up was our mom group followed by a friends sister who always hosts a Halloween party complete with jello shots and a DJ. Needless to say both evenings were a blast!! We couldn't find anything online that we wanted to be so I got a bit crafty with a hot glue gun and did something simple but cute!
