Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year we had Marty McFly, Wonder Woman and Chase from Paw Patrol! We had a wonderful time with our friends and Drew enjoyed trick or treating this year with a big bunch of boys.

We have the best group of friends!

Fall Fun & Pumpkin Carving

The kiddos at their elementary school's Trunk Or Treat!  Drew volunteered with his friend and the littles loved playing the games and visiting each trunk!

Celebrating Kelly's birthday...

And pumpkin carving with Gramma and Poppa like we do each October!

Mimi and Grandpa came into town for Halloween and we took them to church Sunday morning...

Ady & Her Broken Elbow

Welp! We made it 10.5 years of parenting before we had a broken bone. Unfortunately on Monday, October 15th around noon on the recess at school, Ady went down. She was up on the platform by the fireman pole and stepped backward and fell down breaking her humorous bone by the elbow. We took her to the urgent care where they got xrays but a couple of days later saw the Ortho at Cooks downtown Fort Worth. More xrays were done and it was confirmed the bone was aligned meaning no pins, plates and surgery! She has a hard cast on now (she picked blue!) and wears that for 3 weeks before more xrays and further treatment plan is discussed. She's been a TROOPER and adjusted quite well. Of course she's sad about missing the end of the soccer season and not being able to dance but overall she's been great.

Favorite team day with cast on and all...

Pumpkin Patch 2021

We had some amazing weather for the pumpkin patch trip this year and the kids did great!

There are exactly 10 years in between these pictures. October 24th 2011 and 2021!

Alliance Air Show

This year the air show was still different due to COVID and you had to pay to sit in your car and watch. Nothing was hands on so it was somewhat pointless. Instead, we headed over to Cabela's to find a parking lot spot and watch with Poppa. I LOVE seeing the Blue Angels. Drew loved watching and I'm pretty sure the littles enjoyed playing with the binoculars (or 'nok-u-lars' as Will calls them) more than the show itself. Ha!
