This One

Whew. This one. I keep searching every day for a grey hair but somehow I just haven't found it. This kiddo is quite different from our other two. I say everyday thank goodness he's cute because he is one strong-willed baby. He is our karma. Karma for always bragging about how well behaved our other 2 were. They would go to Gymboree and sit there and play along nicely. They never screamed bloody murder in public and were easily entertained. Diaper changes weren't too challenging and they would always let us easily put them into the carseat traveling for distances without needing anything. Not this guy. This handsome tornado can flip from smiling to screaming within .7 seconds and when he does not wanting something he  will LET. YOU. KNOW. I now have 'that child'. You know the one. The one that runs away when you set him down and looks back at you with a devilish smile. The one that screams at the top of his lungs because his sister got within 2 feet of him in a quiet doctors waiting room filled with silent children. The one that you have to literally strap down to change his diaper in a public restroom or he might throw himself off. Yep. We have that one now.

Thank goodness he likes to sleep and eat. #winsomelosesome

Drew & Ady's First Day of School

The bigs started a day after Will and are always so good for me taking pictures! Plus, I LOVE the picture with Bailey!

Will's First Day Of School

Will started his second year with the babies and is going just a few days a week. He has an awesome teacher and did so well day 1 with drop off. Day 2 he cried, but not for long. His second day was my first day of having not a single kid around in over 2 months and it was SO nice. I got so many errands done SO fast! :)

Muggle Shakes

My girlfriend wanted to try out this amazing milkshake place to end the summer and we joined. They were HUGE and delicious!

Fishing

The bigs spent a Saturday out with Gramma and Poppa to fish and BOTH caught a few fish! Drew even caught one that was over 15" long!

Kansas City Part 4

Mimi and Grandpa took us to Scheel's to see all there is and ride the ferris wheel!

And one last shot with the grandkids before heading out of town the next morning.

Also for records sake, I have to note how terrible our ride home was! Ady threw up the morning we left and then about 7 more times on the way home. Will was pretty pissy quite often on the trip and definitely wasn't feeling himself either not eating or drinking anything. A sprite bottle got shaken up and sprayed all over and one of my earrings had to be grabbed out of a gross gas station toilet. We made it, but barely. Ha!

Kansas City Part 3

Derek and I took Drew with Grandpa, Uncle Matt and Aunt Sangetta to his first Kauffman Royals game. He's seen them before in Ohio but it was fun to watch him take in the stadium Derek and I grew up going to. He literally asked 652 questions and you could just SEE his brain figuring everything out.

Kansas City Part 2

Swimming of course after being treated to some delicious food!

Also kinda loved this shot of Ady dropping water onto herself from a bucket...

And then our visit to Deanna Rose Farmstead in which we have gone probably every year for the last 8 or so! It was even Will's second time as we ventured there last summer also!

Just as we knew he would, he LOVED the goats, even tried to sit on them!!

Ady rode the horses again and loved it.

And although he didn't catch anything, Drew loves to fish!

Selfie with my firstborn before that goat tried to eat his visor.

And a rare selfie of just us 2 taken by the hubs...
