Epic Water Park

For Ady's birthday we took her to a local indoor waterpark to enjoy some fun OUT of the sun! She's not 48 inches yet so there wasn't a ton she could do but she LOVED the lazy river, body boarding and the whole kids area with tons of slides and things to play in! Also, who doesn't love pizza and dippin dots!

I think she had fun... :)

Low Light

I love photographing in low light. Something about the colors and highlights and shadows is magical and it's definitely my fave. Here are a few shots I took the other day of my 2 littlest. 

Ady // 5 Years Old

Happy Birthday my sweet girl. I have LOVED this year with you. You have matured so much and although you are still full of sass and drama, you are such a great kid. You have so many friends and you get along with everyone you play with so well! I love how much you like to draw and color and you can play for HOURS with your Barbies all by yourself. You said 'gotfor' for the fist half of the year instead of forgot and it was the CUTEST. And at around 4 years and 4 months you finally started wearing undies at night and could hold your pee for 12-13 hours. You are a girly girl at heart and love to wear dresses and crowns and jewelry. But then you'll play legos with your brother for an hour. You have been working so hard on reading and I'm so proud of how far you've come this year with that. We still haven't made the decision as to if we're going to be holding you back or not so for now you are staying at your private school and will do Kindergarten there. Then we will decide if you will repeat Kinder or go on to first at the public elementary where your brother is at. It's a crazy tough decision but we shall see how this year goes! You are still our snuggly one and I hope that never changes. I love my Ady hugs and our one-on-one time together. Thank you for being such an amazing little girl and I love you to pieces.

Boating With The Girls

We planned months ago to rent a boat in July and head out on the water for a few hours. It was nothing short of SO much fun and we had a blast!

Relaxing

It's been a pretty busy summer but we have had quite a few relaxing times as well and those are the ones I cherish. Just being with my favorites doing us. That's it.

Spazmatics

I have had friends in the past go and watch the Spazmatics but haven't had the chance. When a few friends heard they were coming to our area, we jumped on the chance to see them. They are an 80's cover band and SO amazing. It was so much fun dancing the night away for hours and hours with the best of friends!

Second Haircut For Will

His first official haircut was VERY minimal, more just trimming around his ears and face. We decided to do an even shorter cut for summer as this one is SUPER sweaty all the time. Yes, he looks super handsome but momma sure does miss those sweet curls!

Drew and Mommy Dates

I have always been a big proponent of one-on-one time, especially now with 3 kiddos. Drew and I have enjoyed a few days this summer without the littles and one 2 of them we went on fun dates. The first was to a local waterpark. We had a BLAST and the day was full of laughs and rides.

Drew selected Dave and Busters for date #2 and, again, we had so much fun playing games and competing against each other followed by a lunch date with dessert of course. :)

July 4th

Our community does July 4th the right way!! It's always a great day with good friends and family time along with yummy food and drinks after the parade!

First up was the 5K run with some girlfriends. I love burning a few hundred calories before eating that and more every hour. HA!

Then my parents joined us for the parade which is always fun!

This pretty much sums up how getting pictures of the 3 of them together looks. Ady and Drew are wonderful and Will is running off somewhere. :)

Then it was relaxing time before a big meal and more evening fun! Ady loves to snuggle her Poppa.

And yes, all 3 nap on the 4th considering how late we are up!

Then it was corn and watermelon and other traditional 4th food!

That evening we went to our friends pool party and had a blast!

I didn't get any firework pictures but that's how wen ended the night. Fireworks out front with a few sparklers and other little fun things!
