Weekend Away

I think I've mentioned on here a million times but Derek and I never pass up a chance to get away kidless! We enjoy each other and it's nice to have uninterrupted conversation so why not?  :) So when we found out last fall that a friend of Derek's was going to get married in California we knew we wanted to go. We asked his parents if they were ok coming a week early before Will's baptism to watch the 3 for a few days and they happily agreed. It was an awesome weekend with hiking the Palm Canyons, enjoying delicious food, laying by the pool with fruity drinks, riding up the tram to the freezing cold snow and being touristy in LA. Oh and we loved not having to wake up to an alarm or worry about putting the kiddos down for naps! And yes, I did take my pump just to keep my supply up. :) This was all around a beautiful wedding where we danced the night away!

We sure did miss our littles though. Thank goodness for FaceTime!!
