Baseball

We're right around the corner from baseball starting and although he won't be the next A-Rod, he tries. He actually was against playing this spring but because it was daddy's sport growing up we urged and pushed him to give it one more season. His Mimi and Grandpa gifted him with some hitting lessons for Christmas in preparation and hes been playing catching and hitting with daddy often. I know at some point he's going to notice the innate athletic ability that some other kiddos have and knowing this we are constantly telling him that we don't really care about sports and more about his brain. He is LOVING the Gift and Talented program he was invited into at school and I know this was further confirmation for him that he is special in that area. For now he's still having fun playing sports and as long as that's happening, we'll continue to help him be the best he can be.
